Bob Tasca III

Bob Tasca III has been racing since he was 16 years old. He started his racing career by attending Roy Hill’s driving school. From there he went on to be licensed in 4 NHRA classes. In 2005, after years of being around the John Force program Bob wanted to try his skills in a Top Alcohol Funny Car, the stepping stone to entering the Top Fuel program. After attending Frank Hawley’s Top Alcohol Funny Car driving program Tasca decided to build their own car and enter the professional ranks. In just his first 2 years on the professional circuit the Tasca team has landed 12 final round appearances. Won 2 National events and 2 divisional races. Went to back to back Finals of the Super Bowl of NHRA racing in Indianapolis in 2006 & 2007!

In 2008 Bob made his professional debut in the Top Fuel Funny Car ranks. He finished 12th in his first season. His second season was a breakout year for him and his team scoring their first win in Gainesville and another in Reading, PA. Making the NHRA playoffs and ending up in the number 8 position in just his second year! In 2010 Bob finished 5th in the world with multiple Semi final appearances, 2 final rounds and a win at his home track in Englishtown New Jersey. 2011 marked a season where inches really do matter. Bob lost 10 races by less than 10 inches and 4 by less than 3 inches at over 300MPH! Bob did go to two final rounds at two of the biggest races of the year Indy and the 4-Wide National in Charlotte, NC. He ended up 7th in the world. In 2013, Bob became the first Ford driver to ever get “in the 3 second club” with a 3.988 run at 316.97mph in Chicago!
