The Off Season
This has been the first normal off season we’ve ever had. Our first off season starting the program from scratch, I just hoped we could get it all done in time for Pomona. The real truth I just hoped it would start…
Last year, we were building our race shop and had to rent space in North Carolina. This year has been very different. The race shop is up and running and the guys are hard at work! The entire team is focused on many different projects ranging from finishing the Show Car that will travel the country making stops at Quick Lanes and Motorcraft distributors, R&D work on our dyno as it pertains to cylinder heads, blowers, fuel pumps and clutch components. We are also re-wrapping all of our trailers and race cars. This is a major undertaking. Designs have to be created then approved and then all of the cars trailers need to be stripped and redone.
Next year we will also debut the all new 2010 Mustang designed Funny Cars. All of the Ford teams will debut the new design in Pomona. John Force and I tested the new car in Las Vegas this past season and it was awesome. Wait until you see this car in person! While I type this newsletter only 50 days until Pomona and only 15 days until we test in West Palm Beach. This off season has flown by.
So much to look forward to as the kick off of the 2010 season is just a few weeks away. Tasca Racing is excited to announce the addition of a merchandise trailer for the upcoming season! I’ve had so many people ask me where to buy my merchandise. Now my fans will have the opportunity to browse a complete line of Ford and Tasca Racing merchandise at every event! The merchandise trailer will include a 52 inch TV highlighting our 2009 season along with video footage showcasing our blower dyno, race shop and much more!
I look forward to seeing you at the track but most importantly until then, Happy Holidays to you and your families!
All the best!
